June 2011

CSL Annual Meeting

Date: Saturday, June 25nd

Time: 4:00PM (Feel free to start your solar cooking earlier in the day)

Place: Bryan Park (near the Woodlawn shelter)

Come join the members of the Center for Sustainable Living at our annual gathering and celebration in the Woodlawn shelter at Bryan Park on June 25th. SIREN (Southern Indiana Renewable Energy Networks) will be hosting the event and encourage everyone to bring solar ovens and something to cook while you chat with other solar cooking & green living enthusiasts. Don't have a solar oven? It's time to make one. There are many simple designs that can be found online. A description of how Terry from SIREN made his solar overn is available in PDF format. If you have questions about this particular design, feel free to ask. If you're looking for materials, contact webmaster@sirensolar.org. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
